From the Principal

Greetings Cross Hill Academy Friends and Families,

I believe this summer will be rewarding in many ways, especially if our students don't forget that the Summer Reading lists are available on our website and the Yonkers Public Schools website. As you  may recall, the CHA PTSA has a great reward for those who do complete their summer reading. There's still lots of time left.

Secondly, Cross Hill Academy families are reminded that for the 2015 - 2016 school year, all students will be in full uniform as written in the Yonkers Public Schools Code of Conduct. Our uniform colors are Light Blue top with Khaki bottoms or a Hunter Green top with Khaki bottoms. It is expected that all students will be in uniform daily. Flyers and coupons for purchasing uniforms were sent home at the end of the school year in June. As always, if  you need assistance just contact the school.

Next, the school supply lists for each grade level are available on our website. Just click on the grade level your child will be in and do your best at obtaining those supplies. Look for those back-to-school sales.

Lastly, do not forget to take advantage of the free lunch programs available around city. For more details check the Yonkerspublicschools.org website.

Looking forward to seeing you in September. I believe we are on our way to another great year.

Brian S. Gray
Principal of Cross Hill Academy
